Maz Vegas was an intallation/performance inspired by sites of contemporary working class entertainment: the nightclub, the bingo hall, the cabaret, the betting shop, the laser tag on an industrial estate. The name is a play on 'Bas Vegas', the colloquial name for an entertainment and leisure complex in Basildon, my home town.
